| To all of my dear friends in the Greater Sacramento/Citrus Heights/Folsom/Roseville/Rocklin/Fair Oaks/Orangevale/etc, etc, etc Area:
As I said in my last post, the only sad part of getting married was the unfortunate size constraints of the church. However, we promised we would have a light cake and punch reception, so here it is:
What: A (Belated) Wedding Reception for Jonathan and Julia When: Saturday, August 11 from 5:00-9:00 PM. Where: The home of John and Sharon Ficker (7909 Stanford Ave., Citrus Heights, CA 95610)
If you're reading this, YOU'RE INVITED! I apologize for the lack of "proper" invitations, but things have been fairly crazy. RSVPs aren't necessary, but if you can tell us you'll be there we can make sure to have enough food.
Don't feel obligated to bring anything, but if you'd like to bring some appetizers to share, please feel free.
If you have any questions, please call me or post here. Thanks, and we hope to see you a week from Saturday!

| That just about says it.
I'm happy.
Blessed.
So blessed.
Thank you Lord for this wonderful gift. May I ever strive to treat her the way You would.
I'll talk to ya'll in about 10 days!
P.S. To all of my dear Sacramento friends,
The only bittersweet part of this whole wedding business is that I can't have all of you here with me. Church size (and extended family sizes) conspired against me to drastically limit the numbers we were able to invite.
BUT... We WILL be having a cake and punch reception in the Sacramento area for those of you would like to meet Julia or just catch up with me. More than likely this will be sometime in June. In the meantime you can check for updates on our wedding website (www.JonathanAndJulia.com).
I'd love to see you all there, if you can make it. Invitations will go out soon, but if for some reason you don't get one (I don't have that many addresses, and some of my phone numbers are no good anymore), PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE leave me a comment and let me know you'd like to come! I really want all of you to meet her, and I can't wait to see you all... soon.
Thank you for all that you've meant to me over the years. I love you guys. | | |
| Time marches forward, but not nearly fast enough. I never knew how much their could be to do, plan, or talk about. This list at times seems endless, but enjoyable nonetheless. There are always fun times (registering, apartment hunting, ring shopping), as well as some painful parts (guest list, the single most excruciating part so far), but all in all I wouldn't want to walk this road with anyone else. All that to say that things are definitely coming together, though not due to my skill or ability by any means. Julia is AMAZING. She never ceases to awe or inspire me. I am marrying an absolutely incredible woman. I know that it's clichéd, but she truly does complete me.
Thanks for all of your kind comments on my last post. We have more of the wedding party on the website now, and we'll be adding more pictures and details soon. Stop by and leave us a note in the Guest Book if you haven't already.
Before I sign off for tonigh t and get back to my mountains of homework for these guys, I have one final comment to sum up the current state of me:
I love you, sweetheart.

| So, apparently some of you were confused by my last post. Perhaps this will clear things up.
